Joy of the Fathers

Saturday Mass Changed

Due to Camas Days and the parade, morning Mass on Sat., July 26 will be at 7:30am before the streets close.  There will not be time for confessions until 3:30pm.

7th Annual Father-Son Hike

Like years past, we will be departing at 1:00pm from St. Thomas Church, travel to Star of the Sea Parish in Stevenson & meet up with the rest of the group and head out for Blue Lake (tucked away between Mt. St Helens and Mt. Rainier). Fathers and Sons will be able to enjoy camping under the stars, hiking, fishing, Mass, games and plenty of fun. All Fathers and sons, 8 years and older (First Communion to age 13) are welcome to join us. If you’re not sure ask any one who has been before, once you go you’ll be hooked. The St. Thomas Squires also join in on the fun and this is by far the most anticipated event on the calendar every year for the boy’s and dad’s too! What a great way to initiate Father Gillette to the boys and the parish.

The St. Thomas Boy’s Club train boys to become self-disciplined and confident Catholic leaders committed to improving their communities. Includes an atmosphere of adventure that promotes friendship, fun and formation. Monthly meetings (2nd Sunday of every month in the Fireside Room at 6:45pm), Quarterly field trips and Apostolic Work Projects. The boy’s are also involved in fundraising which every year a portion of the money goes to charities of their choosing.  For more information please contact Jeff White at myredwings19@comcast.net 891-7861 or Patrick Barnes Patrick.barnes@exide.com 210-7232.
