“Spiritual
Healing: A Parish Mission for Those Interested in Personal Spiritual
Growth”
When
Fr. Emmerich Vogt O.P. will preach the weekend Masses March
4 and 5 and the mission will be offered Monday thru Thursday
after the 8:30am Mass and again after a 7:00pm Mass. Friday’s
conferences will be after the noon Mass and after Stations of
the Cross at 6:00pm.
St. Thomas
Aquinas Catholic parish of Camas, WA will be presenting a parish
mission with Fr. Emmerich Vogt O.P., entitled “Spiritual
Healing: A Parish Mission for Those Interested in Personal Spiritual
Growth”.
Who
For
the past twenty years Fr. Emmerich Vogt O.P. has been involved
in giving retreats to Mother Teresa’s priests and sister
in Mexico, Poland, Guatemala, Calcutta, and Africa. From a family
with alcohol and drug addiction Fr. Emmerich has studied the
12–steps for his own healing and to help others to overcome
obstacles and find peace.

perhaps a Mission on Spiritual Healing can help you find that
peace which the world cannot give – a peace that comes
from a spiritual life led in union with Christ and according
the Christian principles.
Before things
go from bad to worse, come and learn more a bout yourself by
discovering a practical spiritual program which, if lived one
day at a time, leads to that “peace beyond all understanding.”
A “parish
mission” is a special event for Catholics in which all
parishioners as well as members of the neighboring communities,
are invited to take part in several days of activity and prayer,
all focusing on faith enrichment. A mission is conducted by
guest speakers who provide dynamic presentations directed toward
key aspects of faith applied to life issues. A parish mission
often results in a new spiritual awakening for those attend,
bringing about a deeper love for God, and a revitalization of
personal relationships.
