Confirmation Preparation for Youth
All youth who are Juniors or Seniors in High School or are at least 16 yearas of age are invited to prepare to recieve the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please contact Drew Swanson at 834-2126 ext. 215 or

Confirmation Preparation for Adults
If you are an adult in need of the Sacrament of Confirmation please contact Drew Swanson at 834-2126 for more information on Adult Preparation for Confirmation.
If you are an adult interested in being Confirmed and joining the Catholic Church you will need to go through the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Please contact Drew Swanson at 834-2126 for more information and to register.
The Signs:
The Anointing of the forehead with the holy oil.
Laying on of (the minister's) hands.
The words: "N., Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Institution by Christ
"Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then they laid hands on them and they received the holy Spirit." Acts 8:14-18
The Grace (Effect)
The effects of Confirmation are:
increases the grace given at Baptism.
gives an indelible spiritual mark, which is characterized by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
strengthens the Christian to profess the faith in an open manner and to fight against all temptations and difficulties.
